7th Warsaw Investment Arbitration Debate and 7th Warsaw Foreign Direct Investment Moot Competition

On 20 and 21 October, the Center for Dispute and Conflict Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw holds 7th Warsaw Investment Arbitration Debate and 7th Warsaw Foreign Direct Investment Moot.
The Oxford-style debate between experienced counsels and arbitrators will tackle one of the most contentious issues in the contemporary investment arbitration: "What stands under the BIT's umbrella? On the proper interpretation of umbrella clauses in bilateral investment treaties". The debate will be followed by an open discussion with the participation of the audience.
